PETS: Pets are welcome for a $125 per stay for one pet and an additional $100 for any other pet accompanying. A money request will be sent for the second pet upon check-in. No pets on the couch or bed. Limit 2 pets per visit. If pets are left alone at the cabin, they must be crated. COFFEE: is not provided. Our coffee maker takes keurig cups as well as normal ground coffee. FIREPLACE: Firewood for the fireplace is not provided. Lighters for fireplace are in the kitchen drawer. SHOWER: the shower knob can be slightly confusing. If turning from right to left, you will notice that the water slows down when the knob gets to the middle. It then resumes normal water pressure as you continue to turn it all the way to the left. In order to get the hottest water, leave the knob in the position directly after the shower head regains water pressure. Turning the knob completely to the left will give you warm/hot water but not the hottest. GRILL: the grill set can be found in the kitchen cabinet with the pots and pans. If using the propane grill, please remember to TURN OFF GRILL AND PROPANE each time you’re done grilling. LOCK YOUR CAR DOORS in the rare case that a bear tries to test drive your vehicle. And, especially at night, don't leave your car doors open so racoons don't mistake you for an uber ride. NOTE ABOUT PESTS Our cabin is treated regularly by professional pest control to help minimize unwanted visitors. However, due to the unique environment of the Smoky Mountains, occasional encounters with pests are unavoidable, especially during seasonal changes. Stink bugs, bees, and other insects may find their way inside despite our best efforts. We do everything we can to maintain a comfortable and enjoyable experience, and we appreciate your understanding of the natural surroundings that make this area so special.
